While visiting relatives after Christmas, I found these New-Ray Peterbilt trucks for $7 at the Tractor Supply is Covington, LA. I think they were also 20% off, but heck even at $7 they're a deal. I need to check the store near our house and find some more. In the store I was thinking they looked a little too big for 1:43, even though it says "1:43" on the box (it says 1:32 on the bottom of the box as well) but sitting next to a RK scale C40-8W they look great. They only had these three styles but I don't remember if there were any other colors. The flatbed comes with a cardboard picture of 2 pickups which I quickly trashed and added the cobra. I got these just before new year's so they may still be around, they are NOT available to purchase on TS' website however.

The bucket truck looks especially nice, and for just $7!

I bought some of the New Ray 1:43 semis a few years ago when they first came out. I think they are decent for the price, but looked a little large compared to my Ertl trucks. The trucks I have are models of older Kenworths and Peterbilts, so they may be sized a little differently than these models of the newer style trucks even though they have 1:43 on the box. If you are interested in the New Ray trucks at good prices, check out the New Ray trucks at Diecast Direct; http://www.diecastdirect.com/asp_modules/catalogmfg.asp?Mfg=NE&Type=T .
I always check out the "clearance/special" table when at Tractor Supply. Got some nice animals for a circus area, dirt cheap but it was months ago The trucks you got do like nice...especially with the Cobra...enjoy.
They look good for the money you paid. A little too modern for my 50's based layout though.
