Both are VERY impressive.

 

It occurred to me that if you put the wood in a firebox (located where the firebox should be) the heat and smoke would travel through the boiler and out the smoke box/smoke stack. You could then use indirect heat to cook, placing certain items closer to the firebox for more direct heat and toward the smoke box for smoking. Home Depot sells one that already has that configuration -- it just looks like a couple of barrels welded together.

 

That guy looks a lot like Richard Boone.
