where is that at?
I just did a search. It's in Fall River, MA. But you can't dine in the car anymore.
44 William S. Canning Blvd, Fall River,MA
How about this one in Barstow, CA
If you go just past it, there's a d'Angelos on the same side of the street that makes a mean chicken salad sandwich. But if it's in-season, get the lobster roll!

That McDonalds in Fall Rivah (that's how the locals pronounce River) is 12.7 miles from my house. Never knew it was there. Will have to check it out sometime. I'd like to check this place in Somerset MA out sometime http://www.railwaycafegiftbaskets.com/ Its just up the road from me.
I also just found out the Old Colony RR Museum in Fall River closed last fall. I had wanted to go check it out for a few months now.

I once came across a shiny passenger car in the middle of a block of what could be the downtown of a small remote mining town, Port Headland in Western Australia, while browsing on Google Earth. After a few searches on Google, I learnt that it was the Silver Star dining car from the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad, General Pershing Zephyr. After its end of service in the US, it was shipped to Western Australia & after the second retirement, it was donated to the town & converted to a diner. Here are some pictures from Wikipedia.
These are just my opinion.
Thanks,

The Barstow McDonald's has gone through several changes over the years. It was one of the first ones with a drive-through, one of the first ones open 24/7, and one of the first two-story (above ground) restaurants. They moved into the passenger cars several years ago, but have since rebuilt and enlarged the original building. I haven't been in there in a while but I think they kept a "satellite" restaurant inside the Barstow Station structure and are also using the outside building. I believe the "switch tower" was once part of the original building that pre-dates the passenger cars being placed there. Interesting complex.

MTH made a couple of versions of Mac Donald's. A drive-thru and a patio version
Did you notice the sign? Ran out of R's and used J's instead.
