I posted this on the Mercer Junction Facebook page and thought some of you might like to see this. I was replacing a switch in a hard to access part of the layout and stuck my phone down a hillside to capture this shot. I wish the photo was better quality but I still think the shot is cool.

Great shot indeed. What is the road made of as it really looks like an actual unpaved road?

Just a fantastic scene. Love the dirt roads and the fact that everything looks spaced as you would see it in real life. Nothing about the scene looks like it's compressed for modeling more into than what would be there. That mill in the back looks pretty cool to. Really frames the foreground scenery.

I think the photo is just fine, very clear, and captures the scene quite well. It really looks good. The tin roof on the machine shop looks great, and the weathering and detail on the building in the fore ground add authenticity to the scene. The quality resolution on cell phones these days is amazing!
