I have this Corgi Birney Safety Car US55203 with a broken gear. Is there a place to buy these parts, my first experience with Corgi trolleys.

Isn't that the Bowser drive that fits the Corgi body? No idea if parts for that are available.
Not sure, I'm a greenhorn when it comes to these old trolleys. I know it has a broken gear.
I'm looking on the Bowser site, and you may well be right, looks a lot like this one. I shot an email off to Bowser to see if I can get parts.
Off the shelf Corgi's did not have motor drives. Two sources of motors that I am aware of are Bowser and GHB International. For GHB that is a PCC drive page, but it gives contact info. The Birney drive page only shows photos. There was a third source in PA Heritage Models, but the owner passed away and the PA Heritage Models website is lacking basic info. So that maybe gone. Hope this helps.
Mine sure looks like the Bowser, nothing like the GHB. I send an email to Bowser, but it may be hopeless.

These drives show up on eBay for ~$55. I have several stacked up but mine are all 2-rail.
I'll check around, thanks.
From a photo in the December 2006 CTT review it appears your drive is a Bowser. Good luck.

Try Brian Weisman of Jason's Brass Poles

So I have been told. I'll see if I can make progress with that.

GRJ,
If I remember correctly, the Pa Heritage drive used Athearn HO diesel drive components. The spur gears in the Athearn diesels look much like those in the photo, so if you have any old Athearn HO trucks laying about you might compare the gears with what you have in the Birney. I'm not sure what gears Bowser used, but Bowser is usually very good about parts support. You might try giving Lee English at Bowser a phone call, might be better than eMail.
Bill
I have no HO stuff around, but I'll call Bowser if I don't get any answer to the email. The customer might have another motor, if so, I'll just drop that in.
