Does anyone else do this?

Now that the tree is down, my real fun begins. From now until spring, I build a floor layout that I can run trains on through the dreary winter.

I like to run passenger train loops and one long freight train with a circus theme.

In the very center is tube O27 loop where I run my classic Post War and 70s-80s-90s conventional trains. Plasticville town, with a green space reserved for the Lomax animated circus I ordered from Menard’s.

The next loop is MTH track running a PRR passenger train that is a P2 Starter set loco, but the Lionel Broadway Limited cars because I love silhouette windows. I use the DSC Remote Commander.

Next loop, Fasttrak running LC+ and MTH engines in conventional mode with a Z1000. That’s the circus train.

Finally, not pictured, the outer loop with a passing track runs MTH Santa Fe and Amtrak passenger trains using the new DCS Explorer.

Who else builds floor layouts that are more than just trains? I’d love to see your photos!0F932AF0-AA64-46BA-B703-D9CE8E3FC43403804802-EC13-40F3-9E8E-6D3393D084D4C7D29C20-A21B-4D8D-A84D-259592ED9E24
