Correct colors for Northern Pacific passenger cars

Ron, you might want to consider investing $25 in an NP Color Drift Card set from the NPRHA. This is the best color reference material available, having been expertly matched to actual NP paint!  Many of the model RR manufacturers and paint suppliers are using these.  I wish more RR historical societies would do this....  Good luck!

Thanks, My son lives near them, I'll have him stop in and check it out. Having grown up in a NP, SP&S, GN area, these have been some of my favorite cars to run, the NP and SP&S ran through Pasco when a kid, I'm not sure, I think GN stayed up along the Spokane and Seattle corridor as I don't remember seeing them run as I did the NP, SP&S. Then of course, BN came in and then BNSF, not quite the same but all part of my layout.
