I'm looking for something that will duplicate the appearance of corrugated metal siding in O scale. Ideal would be like Alexander Scale from long ago, but I don't recall seeing it in anything but HO...and it was real metal (aluminum?) and difficult to work with. I'm thinking maybe styrene.
Any recommendations?

There was a guy making real aluminum corrugated roof. He used old aluminum cans for material. Don't know if he's still in business. Don
This says siding, but it also works for roofing.
Go on the Evergreen Scale Models website. They have a number of different style corrugated sheets in plastic. You can buy them in sheets as large as 12" x 24"
Get a roll of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Borrow a plastic corrugated roof from a Lionel accessory (or similar), and make a rubbing:
Leave a corrugated box in the sun to dry it out. Then it is easy to peel off the brown paper from the corrugated core. Spray the core silver. I did this for a friend making Quonset huts years ago, came out pretty good
Another alternative is to make your own, if you have access to a 3D printer. The die information is free to the Forum to download and use with an ordinary vise.
