Nope, the PS/1 and TMCC (also ERR) couplers are higher voltage and are compatible with each other. Those couplers do not work where PS/2 or PS/3 couplers work and vice-versa.
It's easy to identify what you have, the PS/2 and PS/3 couplers have a flat frame and a patent number on the bottom, the PS/1 couplers just have terminals.
thanks john I think I got it solved where the wires come through the chassis the wires were pinched together
