After operating my DCS system for the past three years I made the discovery that my TIU (Rev. L) is actually version 6.00. My remote is version 6.10 and has been since I bought it. I purchased one of the last runs of it. I haven't noticed any issues, but could this cause problems? How necessary is it to have both the TIU and Remote with the latest software when it looks like version 6.10 only benefits the Wifi app which I almost never use?

When the 6.1 update came out, it really only applied to the TIU. When you update the DCS remote from 6.00 to 6.10, the only thing it did was change the version number displayed when the remote starts. Using a 6.1 remote with a 6.0 TIU is perfectly fine and vice versa.

The 6.10 firmware for the TIU corrected some issues when using it with the WIU & the DCS App.
