I bought a used MTH crane #30-7947 and it does not have a cranking tool. Does anyone know the part number and where I can purchase the crank? Thank you, Motorman Jim

Following is a link to the MTH support page with one of the few exploded diagrams with part number. The only problem I see is that the tool (#24) has a description of button and nothing in the list says anything about a cranking tool.
I would try Brasseur, they have a lot of parts and knowledge with MTH products. Maybe they can help.
Cranking tool is a 4 mm hex wrench. Should be available at most hardware stores.
Here's what it looks like in black
As Mike said, it's basically a 4mm hex with a knurled end.
You could easily make one up from a standard hex wrench: cut it down, and use some plati-dip in your color of choice for the "knurled" end for grip.
