I thought I'd ordered a couple of items from Crescent Locomotive Works over the phone a month ago.
Tried to contact them a couple of times over the past couple of weeks with no response or reply.
Was hoping to get the cinder hoist and small office building for our new engine service facility yard, but no luck on finding out what happened.
Are they still in business does anyone know?

Yes, they say David was at York this past month. I e-mailed him last week and he answered with a positive answer. If you want, contact me via e-mail and I will give you David's contact info.

Yes, he has been busy. I ordered the ash hoist at the Amherst train show the last week of January and received it after he returned from York. It was well worth the wait.
Yes, I just received my coal tower, it is tough to get ahold of Dave. I am guessing he is busy guy. I ordered it at Amherst in late January. Fedex was not so careful with my package.. David does top shelf work, his works are muesum pieces in my opinion.
David does excellent work. He is a craftsman and basically a one-man show. Just be patient. You will not be disappointed with his work!

I was thinking of placing a order on a switch tower ad pass.station-how long after you place your order does the item arrive-are these items well packaged-does he contact you if you want different paint themes,etc joe

His packaging is next to none. I have ordered 4 different buildings from him, one was a custom and not one thing was broken. He is top notch and well worth waiting for. Below is a custom building, truck terminal that he built for me...it was way more that I ever expected for the price.
I also, ordered a Station and passenger platform in Feb, and still haven't received it. But, Dave comes highly recommended, so I'll just wait 
I'm waiting on it to cut the hole before I start the trackwork for it.
