Is there a way to switch off the ability to crosspost announcements to Every. Freaking. Forum.? If you have an announcement, announce it in the Announcement Forum and leave it at that. I don't always have the time/energy/patience to go scrolling down umpteen repeats in my Daily Digest...

Thanks, and apologies if this has been covered in the Suggestion Box before. I scrolled through the first page or so of suggestions and didn't see anything about it.

Unfortunately, you will probably not get much help here. The "cross-posting" as you call it is usually done by forum advertisers (the most common one I remember is the person selling backdrops, but it also happens when a product is also useful in multiple gauges and scales), and the rules are very liberal for them since they carry most of the forum freight charge for us.
