Shots of CSX trains. Usually as the roll into, or out of, the Florence Rail Yard.

Nice pictures!
South Cackalackey. I like it. Is there a North Cackalackey? If there isn't, there should be. I'd be in for an East and a West Cackalackey as well. I'm thinking you can never have too many Cackalackeys. It's catchier than Peoria.
I looked it up. I like it too. I'll give Deuce the honor of explaining.
Nice CSX units by the way!!

There is indeed a North Cackalackey, just above South Cackalackey ... so it's a bit colder there in the winter. I've lived in Peoria, and if it'll play in Peoria, it'll play in the Cackalackey's too.
My favoritest hot sauce of all time is called Cackalacky (missing that last "e", which means either they spelled it incorrectly, or I did*, or it can be spelled either way). It's got some zing to it, and the Cheerwine flavored ones are pretty nice too.
*I may live here, but obviously I need to spell the slang better. Corrected the topic title.
Sorry for the off topic reply, but weren't you looking for a sound module, Duece? I just saw this come up in the for sale section, and I thought you were looking for something similar before: https://ogrforum.com/...und-sets-available-1

Thanks. I had been, but I found a suitable workaround for the time being. Thanks for remembering though!
Cackalacky it is. I can work with that.
There once was a lass from Cackalacky
You couldn't help but notice she was stacky
When she wore a tight sweater
Even the blind men could see better
And not one found her choice of wardrobe tacky
Keep the camera wound and the shutter down. Cheers.
I see no mention of a South Cackalackey near the Florence SC yards, is this a local neighborhood nearby?
Cackalackey is the sound a train makes going over a diamond crossing.

Deuce is holding out on us! LOL I learned where SC and NC are from my brother who used to live nearby. I want Deuce to have the honor!

Cackalackey or Cracalote is on the starbucks menu, on the LA starbucks menu really it is right under BangBangalote.
Cackalacky is just slang for Carolina. It's - supposedly - a relatively recent addition to the English lexicon, though it really depends on who you ask. It's true origins ... remain a mystery. But it's fun to say.
Agreed. And a natural for a limerick.
A railroad fan from Cackalacky
Wanted to hear the trains go clickety clackety
On to the tracks went his ear
When the train was too near
And his brains ended up all kersplackety
Ok, I'm done. I promise.

You had everyone guessing for quite a while Deuce! We are native Western Pennsylvanians, but my brother just took his pension from the Kershaw County Schools last spring. He filled me in. When I worked in Virginia from the mid '70s to early '90s, folks would speak of North Carolina as just 'Carolina'. I don't recall hearing anyone use 'Cacklacky' back then, though I worked with some native Carolinians.
I take it as occasionally I hear Western Pennsylvanians refer to our commonwealth as Pennsyltucky.
John P Jr,
Did you say Star Bucks, this is DD country here in Pa sir, us Veterans don't go near Star Bucks no matter what name they put on the coffee.

William, love your Limerick;
'There once was a maiden from Chichester
Whose beauty made Saints in their niches stir
One morning at Matins, her breasts in rose satins
Made the Bishop of Chichester britches stir.'
