A quick video of two increasingly rare locomotives on a Herzog ballast train at night. CSX started storing its SD70MACs as a result of a combination of PSR-related changes and new ET44ACs. In fact, I had been under the impression that most of CSX's SD70s were retired by this point; hence, seeing one was a treat indeed. Also on the train was a CW40-8, a class that is growing scarce across all Class 1s (witness how all but 4 of NS's C40-8Ws are stored). The train also had a few older white Herzog hoppers.
