A friend with seventeen-years of service as an engineer with CSX recently presented me with a gift of a mint condition W.T. Kirkman No. 100 "Watchman" railroad kerosene lantern. The lantern has a CSX blue globe with the current [CSX] logo and the words "Nashville Division 2012" in white lettering printed on it. A VERY nice, and unexpected present for which I am most appreciative!

It is sitting on my desk as I write this.

Heck, Adlake is stil in business!

Plus, by going to the Kirkman website, it appears that the started business in 1984, and they offer service parts for virtually every type of oil lamp and kerosene lantern from the late 1800s thru the present day. Very impressive company.
