I recently purchased a MTH Scale Test Car, PRR roadname. Those cars have a hand railing where I saw (on the prototypes) some working/safety signage hung. The PRR version had no signs, but several roadnames do have signs. I thought I could make some. I was able to cut out a 1/2" by 5/8" piece of thin plexiglass that would fit perfectly. I then tried to print a prototypical sign. The font size had to go down to 4 to fit what the prototype sign had printed, and it's barely readable (my printer's pretty decent).
Has anyone had signs of that size made and had custom lettering done? If so, would you mind sharing where/how?
