Took a pair of MTH SD40's that I bought at a show a while ago and did a repaint. I actually painted them in the 70 scheme which I like better than the 40. Can't afford the 70's so I did this instead. Cost was approx. 25 bucks for decals and paint, a little cheaper than two new engines. The powered runs great and both are lighted. Give me some feed back on them.

Sacralige! You repainted a warbonnet? How Could You!
842, I think they look great; really like the silver underbody; really cool; great work; Falcon70
Looks great to me. I am a BNSF fan and that logo is my favorite. Almost everything I have on my layout is BNSF, engines and rolling stock.
Beautiful work.

Nice work!! I like your back drop too.
Thanks, The back drop took a little longer. My next project which I just started is going to take a couple of years. Building the USS North Carolina out of wood and just finished the bottom frame work. I'll start shaping the wood this summer. It's over 14' long over 2' wide and 3' tall. I bought a 144th scale model and will build them together. I'll send some pics in the future, going to be fun.
