I built a custom detailed boxcar that began as a Quality Craft 50' undec. kit.
I shaved off the grab irons and end ladders and replaced with metal grabs and ladders. Also detailed complete brake rigging and added metal end cross over platforms.
KTM metal roller bearing trucks with rotating caps. Metal Kadee couplers.
The model is painted & decaled for the Raritan River RR, a mid-1970's era car.
This was a fun project, but it is too new for the era I model, so I'm selling it in the For Sale section.
