A friend of mine wants me to disable the CW 40/80 direction, bell and whistle buttons. Can the case be removed from these transformers to remove the buttons. I only know postwar transformers. Thanks! Bill Makel
The button is soldered directly to a circuit board. Below is a link to photos and some discussion on the triangle/security tool needed. Some people have had luck getting just the right width flat blade screwdriver to loosen those screws.
Once the case is removed, the plastic buttons fall right out. They sit on CB mounted mini switches. Those switches will still be accessible by inserting a tool(screwdriver, dowel, pen/pencil etc.) to depress the mini switches so it will take more steps to make them inoperable.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
