I have one of the bargain-basement sets of security driver bits, and often find that they come in handy.
For those places where the access hole is long and narrow, and the standard bit-holder wont fit, it's fairly simple to use a hacksaw, or a Dremel tool with a cutting disc, to cut a slot into the back-end of the bit so that you can drop the bit down the hole, and then use a standard flat bladed screwdriver to turn it.
