Very cool video! Got the shivers when the camera was buried in snow as the engines went by.

Boy, I bet that sucks for the engineer. I imagine they can't just stop and clean off the windshield.
Great video!
That's so cool! I just have a big grin watching that! Someday I'll catch one just like that...
Until then, we have this:
Thanks,

Now, that is the way to plow SNOW!!!. Nice job Lads!
I wish that I had some videos of me doing that. Once you get into the deep stuff like that, at between 25 - 30 mph the snow starts blowing up unto the windshield and you can't see where you are going. Those little snow plows weren't designed to move all of that snow at speed like that big Jordan spreader pictured above. You just need to slow down so you can see.
That was fun to watch!
Great video!! My BRO just sent it to me.
Wow, that was spectacular footage when the engine broke through the plowed snow where the road crossed the track. My compliments to the person who made the video for standing in there when chunks of snow went flying - I almost ducked myself to avoid it hitting me. Thanks for sharing it.
Is it my imagination or does the video show cars running through the crossing while the red lights are blinking signifying an approaching train.
The last vehicle I saw crossed about 5 seconds before I could hear the bell on the recording, but it's hard to believe that the driver couldn't see the "horizontal avalanche" approaching on the tracks from the left.
Plow? We don't need no steenking plow!
Yup, idiots were crossing the tracks with the lights blinking, horn blowing, and a huge cloud of snow approaching from the side... I'll bet that most of the people did not notice any of it as they crossed the tracks.
I'll bet the videographer's breath got sucked right out of him when that wave of snow came over. Probably wasn't the smartest move either, as that locomotive could've kicked up a chunk of ice and hit him in the head.
That's fun to watch. Thank you for posting it.
I really liked the video when the snow hit the camera. Great video
NICE! I really liked it from 27 secons to the first minute when the engineer"went Blind" through the crossing!
THIS, is why I love trains! Thanks for sharing.

Although my 9 yr old son (and the 9 yr old in me) thought that the sudden giant finger clearing the lens was hilarious
