Hi --- I have the MTH  DCS Remote from 4 or 5 years ago .       Would it be worth buying the DCS Commander for the screen readout size .  That is to say  -----  is the Commander screen easier to read ---   larger type ,  or is the type or font identical to the DCS remote .    Also is it it easier to use in general for the basic functions too .

Well, the DC Commander is a totally different animal, so you better make sure that's what you want.

It's not wireless, you have to stay in one position.

It only outputs DC.

It only handles a maximum of 6 amps on it's only track output.

It appears designed for smaller layouts and probably HO use, hence the DCC pass-through mode that it has.

The fonts do appear larger.
