DCS Remote Commander AND TIU?

As soon as the engine is added to the full DCS system, it is not controllable by the DCS Remote Commander.

The answer is no, and I can't imagine there is any "fix" to this.

I kinda figured that, but I thought there might be a work-around to get the loco to stay at the factory address.

I'm also guessing that if a conventional horn/whistle button is wired between the TIU and the track, that once under DCS, a DC offset won't trigger the horn.   Never tried it, but I have a feeling it won't work.

No, that won't work, either.

The only "work-around" is to put a conventional horn board in the locomotive and use it like conventional.  It would be totally independent from the command electronics.
