After not running the trains for a while, I turn on the remote and display was not readable. The display comes on but just a bunch of lines. Replaced the batteries, no change. Is the remote repairable or should I buy a new one?
Put my remote in my back pocket, climbed around my layout and speed no longer worked on the remote controlled hand held unit. Very fragile piece of trash, brand new 8 months ago, always had issues with it. Just bought a new one today, hard to find they are being discontinued, but train world has a couple left.
