Our Club "O" Gauge layout will give us different signal strength readings depending upon which engine that we run over the layout, during a "Signal test"!
Is this another problem, or just the on going floating read outs we get, when running a signal check.
I believe that all of the engines that we've run during the signal strength test were all PS2, but I'm not sure of that!
Would that make a difference?, and if so why?

What were the different values that you received, and for which engines?
Barry, I apologize for asking a question on here, and not remembering what the model numbers were/are.
I'll have to dig them out, and get the factory model numbers.
I don't think that this will tell you anything, but both were diesels, and one being a 4 axle, and the other 6 axle. both were PS2 for sure.
