Lyle,

If it's the video that was done by OGR, in technology terms it's ancient. In its day (DCS 3.x) it was a very nice learning tool and Rich Melvin did an excellent job of communicating the basics, and maybe a little more, of DCS. However, since we're now at DCS 6.1, it doesn't really relate nearly as well.

Well....while the DCS version has changed and the ability of DCS in its current version offers more, the video still covers the basics of DCS and Command Control and those basics have not changed.  It is still an excellent instructional video on the basics of setting up DCS and how it works.  As far as information from the technological terms Barry references, it does not cover the current DCS 6.1...but remember...like anything having to do with "computer versions", we would have to produce a video every 6 months with corrections, work arounds, updates and upgrades, etc. just to stay current and the sales did not justify this level of production.

I just bought this video. It's nice to know I bought old technology. What I am trying to say is since I own a 2019 Jaguar I just bought an owners manual for a model A.

I wonder why it's still for sale in the OGR store.

Read my response above....you still got a bargain in terms of what I discussed above.....but I do think we need to include in the description the time date of when the video was produced and that it does not include instruction for anything beyond the basics it covers not including software versions above what is discussed in the video....
