I have 3 tiu's on my layout do i need a wi-fi unit for each tiu.
Can i run these with my laptop.
If I go the tablet route which is the best reasonably priced and then do I have to get a contract for it not really sure how this works.

No, you cannot.

No contract is required. You do not need Internet or cellular access. All you need is WiFi.
Ok thanks barry that does answer my question since I was not sure whether you bought one wi-fi and ran in super mode, I ask this question since they state that the remotes are not going to continue to be made, at that time I will have to do something which is why I ask.
