I wanted to get out and enjoy the sun today so I took the trains out with me. Actually got a little bit of a burn.

nice set up and great day today to be outside. Do you take it down at night or cover it up to enjoy again?
I agree.......can't beat running trains outside....this is from a few years ago....

We would love to do this, but not very conducive in Maine. Snow still on the ground, but the ice dropped this week.
I would love to run my trains outside but three things hold me back; one) I don't have anywhere that the trains will be safe and two) I don't have anywhere that the trains may not start to melt. It got up to 93 yesterday in West Palm Beach FL. 3rd) I don't want to see the trains get stolen either, being in here in south Florida.
I may start a new layout in about two months.

What actually brought this about, is this Saturday Lewisburg Pennsylvania has their arts festival and as a club we usually set up in one of our members church just off main street. When the Arts Festival doesn't fall on York week. So this year we were planning on a no show, but a few of us said what if instead of the big layout we just do something quick and simple so this is my contribution and I wanted to try it out and it works decently well So Steve I do take it down. I actually timed my self on taking everything down and was done in about an hour and 15 minutes.

I got to do it a few times per week from 2010 - 2013...and get PAID to do it! Life is tough!
