Hi everyone, just wanted to share my newest design. Literally just took this out of the molds! The art deco style is my favorite of all designs and we are defiantly missing this in our hobby. Since this is what I want for my layout, I decided to set out and build a series of these and will most likely be selling them as a low production resin kit in the near future as I am sure there are a few more in our hobby who like art deco as well. This building is going to be a Jewelery store on my layout, anyone have another idea for it? The walls were designed to have common brick and boy did it come out realistic. The picture does no justice! Thanks for looking! Marty

also working on finishing up the last details on the bowling alley

Nicely done, man!

By the way, at the 2014 NMRA Division 2 Model Railroad Jamboree held in Pittsburgh (4/26/2014), Jim Sacco (owner of City Classics) gave a terrific and informative clinic called The Modernization of Main Street.  In it he described the influence of the 1930s movement to modernize the downtown areas of small towns and cities.  It literally changed the face of small town America.

I don't know when / if he'll give this clinic again, but it would be well worth catching.
