I rediscovered my O27 uncoupler track section as seen in "Basic Training, what pun." I ordered two more this morning. I have a Type S transformer that powers my switches and lights. The pot on "A" is bad. I power the rails with a Type 4851. Just a basic transformer with a quick circuit breaker. My transformers are in phase. So, the big question..... Is it okay to power the uncoupler section with the Type S transformer (auxillery power). When I am running in conventional mode, with track power down, I would still like to operate the uncouplers.
And while we are all here. I have my original Texas Special #1055. Is it possible to add reverse? Details please.
