One of the wires attached to the plug in to the tender is broken and I'm looking for a replacement part. Lionel website says It is not available. The part is called tether # 6911206t41 , who could I contact to get this part . Thanks

I checked this morning and it showed a price of $3.40. Maybe the website I used i outdated.
Having done this repair, I can enthusiastically advocate replacement and NOT repair of the part!

Actually, the owner of the loco had the replacement part on hand.

If you're good with working on miniature printed circuit boards and very small connectors, it's possible. I strongly recommend trying to find a replacement board, however.

I tried to repair the harness with a electric soldering gun and a magnifying glass but i`m not good with small connectors so if I could find who sells these harnesses I would order 3 of them just in case

Yes #6911206T41 is the correct part and Lionel says it is not available. looks like I have to search for one or get someone who is good at soldering. Thanks for your help
