It was definitely skewed to make the big bad railroad corporation look bad. Can't help wondering how many of the 2067 incidents at RR crossings were at crossings with flashing lights or flashing lights and gates.
Nothing was said about how devastating this is to the engineer and conductor of the train. All they can do is throw the train into emergency and watch. I was just on a train where this happened and it was a fatal crash. It was obvious when the conductor made announcements as to what was going that he was very broken up by it.
