Did Lionel Ever Make a True "Remote" Control Uncoupling Track?

You would use a Lionel ASC or ASC2 in conjunction with any edition of the uncoupler track section similar to as shown in the manual like so:

Interesting. They refer to the 6-65530 which appears to be the tubular remote uncoupling track. It has - according to their website - 4 wires.

The 6-12054 (which is the operating track) has no wires.

Wonder if I could disconnect the push button attached to the 6-12020 and connect those 2 wires to the ASC?

Additionally - wonder if I could connect those 2 wires to the MTH AIU? I'm trying to keep down the number of items I'm using to control my trains (but I prefer the MTH DCS system).

The FasTrack 6-12054 Operating Track also has four wires between the remote and track besides power and ground: two to operate the electro-magnet and two for the auxilary power rails.

The FasTrack 6-12020 Uncoupling track can be operated by connecting two wires to the appropriate terminals under the track to any of the Lionel ASC, ASC-2 and/or MTH AUI.  These interfaces have relays inside that essentially replace the functions of the buttons inside the stock wired remotes for the operating and uncoupling tracks.  These units can also operate switches and other accessories.

I'll take this opportunity to encourage Lionel to adapt whatever the tech is in the command control Fastrack switches -- a major advance for Lionel track, in my opinion -- and put it in the uncoupling/activation track.  This seems like very low-hanging fruit.  I can't imagine it would require whole new tooling for the track (the switches are visually indistinguishable from their earlier, non-digital equivalents) and the tech to operate the track through the Legacy remote can't be more complicated than the solution Lionel already put in its switches.  A real remote uncoupling track, like the switches, would reduce wiring and complexity for everybody, and would be particularly useful for everyone who sets up carpet layouts and who doesn't want to tackle wiring projects for a layout that might only be up for a few days or a week or a month.  I'd definitely purchase some new uncoupling track if Lionel would add a command control function!

The problem comes down to the switching of power.  Modern Fastrack switches are lower current devices.  Uncoupling tracks, whether ancient or new, are higher current devices.  It's not a simple swap.
