I was wondering if anyone know if MTH ever made these cars?
I've looked around on the internet and auction sites and 
can't even find a trail of them.

Along time ago MTH made a Norfolk and Western passenger set. It was pulled by a small Norfolk and Western "J" steam engine. The set came with track and transformer. I believe there were three extra cars you could add to the set. I believe they might be the cars you are asking about. These smaller trains were called rugged rails.
Yes i have the rtr Bantam set and was thinking of adding a few of these cars. But other than on the mth site, I cant find any trail of them online. No old links to sold out dealers who carried them. Nothing for sale or previously sold showing on ebay. Thats why i was starting to question if they were ever made. Thanks for the info!
