I like it, they are a hoot.

I picked up a couple packs of the Mini-Minions at Walmart and have them scattered around the layout.

Same here got some at both Walmart & Target.  I don't know if it was a pricing error or just a way to make room for the next cycle of toys to come in for fall/winter, but I couldn't resist buying the larger talking/singing ones on a $15 clearance.

I like it Eddie. Very timely and it sure gets the attention of the kids out there.

I went to the movies last night and seen the new Minions movie and I laughed for an hour and a half its not just for kids. All hale King Bob.

I just saw it today myself. Did you notice all the references to 1968 ? The

Nixon poster. The Beatles walking across Abbey Road ?

Great idea to interest the kids in the layout!

Looks like fun! I had added some from the earlier movies to the Troublesome trucks.

Kids and adults were roaring in laughter when our family went to see the movie!

 

Toys R Us has a couple of nice packs of these characters that look good with O Gauge.

Got some to add to some of the trains that kids will run at shows!

There are also some little Lego Packs of Minions shown on the last photo.

 

Very popular with the kids.

Too bad they did not have a Minions train running in the movie!

 

A LionChief set for the kids would be great!

Prehistoric Minion.  These are dinosaur skulls from a TOOB at Hobby Lobby. We plan to disguise them as rocks on the Eagle Scout layout.
