Although I didn't realize it at the time, we bent a section of Gargraves track for the Super "0"layout that my father helped me build in the early 1960's.  The table was made in an "L" shape, and the Super "O" track wouldn't fit the inside corner.  We visited Lopo's Camera's and Trains, and a very long section of flexible Gargraves track was recommended.  Although not identical to Super "O" track, the Gargraves looked similar enough, and could be cut and bent to go around the inside corner.

We tried that for a while, and, over time, realized it wasn't the perfect solution since we had some derailments due to the sharpness of the curve.  So, we ultimately opted for a complex solution with what was essentially an "S" curve using the Super "O" track.
