I had been storing my trains in my garage where the temp could get as high as a hundred degrees. I then read on the forum that storing them in high temp areas may damage them so I changed storage area that is much cooler. I took out my prized possession MTH premiere CB&Q F-3's to find out that the shell had cracked by the number boards to the middle of the nose. I just wanted to post this again in case there are some newbies to the hobby and I don't want this happening to anyone else. I waited months after I read the post to move my trains so the next time I will listen and do what is suggested to prevent damage to my trains. They were the nicest set I had ever owned and as my Dad used to say an once of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure.
