Yeah I know they are not right but that is what she came with.  I'll swap them when I find another set.

I'm late to this party (just discovered the thread)... so the poster of the above pic may not even be here anymore... but gotta' hand out an "Attaboy" for the above.

I find this picture intriguing: The subtle coloration/weathering on the engine is very nice,  the overall subdued tones in the scene... everything... is really well done.  Regardless of some of the things I've struggled with in the past concerning 3-rail Hi-Rail... there really is potential in the Hi-Rail approach using 3-rail equipment. This photo is causing me to rethink my previous position!

I, for one, would enjoy seeing more similar pictures of this layout effort by this modeler.

Thanks for post it!

We've featured Dave Minarik's layouts (home and store) in the magazine in the past, Andre, and you can be certain we'll be featuring them again in the future.  Dave is in the process of doing a bit of home layout reconstruction at the present time.

Dave is a regular participant on the forum, so you can be sure he'll see your kind comments here.

I have an SW9 NYC Railking PS2. Great switcher! Runs well. Also I just purchased a premier Pennsy Alco RS11 with PS3. Can be used as a switcher or regular runs. Also a great runner. The sound has improved from PS2...clearer chatter, etc. The volume level has a big jump when you get to the highest level. Volume increment could have been better, but I like the engine. The start up sounds on both are great!
