different response on Cab 1 and Legacy | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have one of the K-Line/Lionel sd70 engines. it runs fine with the exception that it's response on the Cab 1 and legacy controllers are different. On the Cab 1 it takes a few turns to get it running to a medium speed. On the Legacy I need to get it up nearly to the end of the graph to get it going and then dial it back. I have numerous other engines and non of those exhibit this behavior.

Any suggestions?

does it move very slow once it does start up?

just a thought have you checked the momentum setting in both cab-1 and legacy remote?

Does this engine have K-Line cruise? That has an acceleration curve, is that what you're seeing? Have you just dialed it up and waited? What mode are you running it in on Legacy, try the R100 mode.
