Too bad the pricing is in the stratosphere! I just bought 20 PCP boards from China for $26 total, including shipping. It took about two weeks from order to receipt. I posted the order to JLCPCB on 8/31/22 and received it on 9/16/22.
I uploaded the same Gerber file to Digikey and specified 20 boards. The cheapest price I got for a 10-day turn-around was eight times that per board! That's the cheapest option.
From there, the prices went up RAPIDLY! Here's the next price, just twice as much per board!
Clearly, this is a service for the Well Healed clientele, not for us mere mortals!
If you wonder why the Chinese are eating our lunch on electronic products, here's a classic example!
I looked at the websites of some of these providers, if I read them correctly they are making the boards in China for anything other than expedited builds (like a day or 2). If so, sounds like they are building cheaply and charging mightily, wow.

I know that Seeed Fusion does them overseas, and if you order direct from Seeed, they're MUCH cheaper than the Digikey prices! I've ordered boards a number of times from Seeed Fusion. Those boards I quoted above for 20 were 50 cents each from Seeed, but the shipping was $21, so it turns out that JLCPCB is cheaper for the overall build, hence I ordered from them the second time. Still, $30 shipped for 20 boards is way cheaper than Digikey gets for the same order from Seeed, $179 + shipping!
Truthfully, the Digikey offering seems to be tailored for the uneducated! I'm blown away they can actually get any business at those prices! There really is one born every second!
I thought you guys would be shocked at the prices they're trying to get for them. Maybe they're looking for government and military orders!😳
