Hey guys,

A while back I read that someone used a diode in-line with the 18V outputs on their transformer in order to keep the lamps running cooler on the 022 switch machines.

I tried on my own switch here and it worked really well, with very little noticeable reduction in brightness of the lamp or action of the switch.

My question is, can I use a single diode right at the output of my dedicated transformer and then daisy chain all 8 of my switches together?  As long as the diode can handle the amps, should be OK, right?  Or should I put a diode in line right at the CV plug of each switch?

Thanks!
