A single Z1000 brick feeds a rev L TIU. One channel for my 2 rail and one for my 3 rail.

Didn't see the photos, but I know that many H.O. clubs ban plastic wheels because of the crud they pick up and re-distribute on the rails. I don't even use them on the club layout and it's a 3-rail layout.

Photos 2nd time around.

I have had that happen to brass and die cast wheels.  Steel seems to be best.

Are those Athearn trucks? If so, Intermountain wheels will fit in them just fine. That's what I 2-rail my Weaver cars with (thanks to the guys in this list for the recommendation) and I've been happy with the results.

The trouble with plastic wheels is as they run they get warm and then the elastomers start to leach out of the plastic and leave an oily residue that sticks to the tracks and caused all kinds of crud to stick to the wheels

Matt..these trucks are the grab bag "whatevers" i purchased in my early days not really knowing what was best.My LHS has has the intermountain,Weaver,Atlas and Athearn.

Plastic wheels create static electricity (friction). Static electricity attract dust and the pressure compact it making a layer.

There's a very good reason not to use plastic wheels!  I don't have anything with plastic wheels, and I never will.

You didn't post the pictures properly in the first post, if you look at the image properties between those and the later ones that show up, you can see the difference.

If you have a picture already out on an Internet source, it's very easy, just click on the  "tree" icon on the toolbar and paste the URL of the graphic and click Insert.  Here, I'll display your avatar.

At the bottom of the screen you post replies is a green + that is labeled attachments. Click it, and find your photo, click it. Once it loads check off the box below it that says "insert files full sized in post". 

If you forget to check the box "insert files", or you want its size to be different. its not too late. Back on the post screen your photo is now in a blue section at the bottom. Click on "insert into post body" and chose a size.

There is also a choice below the blue photo section that says "collapse" attachments.

That "collapsed" means the little versions at the bottom will, or wont, be there.

Looks to me like you have an excellent track cleaner car, if all the metal wheels are clean in the same consist, make sure you have one up front with plastic wheels  

Clem, i use no track cleaner...i was thinking of taking one of my intermodal cars, remove the containers and install some sort of mini super lion powered vacumn cleaner. The intermodals have nice open holes in the bottom.
