They’ve turned a mottled gray color. Any suggestions to restore them to black? Thanks.

Mark, I see why you posted here but you might want to post in a more followed topic category like 3 rail traditional to get more visibility.

Could you just paint them black?
They’re rubber, and flexible. Not sure paint would adhere properly, and when jostled, paint might flake off? If nobody else chimes in, I’m gonna try Armor All, and see how it does.
Armor All Original Protectant worked, and shined up the roofs nicely, too.
Mark - I've found that a number of automotive products work well with trains. Maguire's has a product called "Ultimate Black" that you can buy at auto parts stores. It work's great at restoring a deep black shade to rubber products like the trim on my wife's '91 Mustang.
