Am trying to remove the front coupler from our K-Line F7 and the directions say to 'follow the black wire back from the coupler and disconnect it from the board'. It appears to go under the board. I hesitate to remove the board, is there another way to do this not mentioned in the instructions?

Any harm to just cutting the wires and if so where would be the best place in the event someone would want to restore the function?

Thanks

Thanks Pete and Don. I had seen that white plug but the wires appeared to run under the board toward the other side. Was able to finagle it back through the maze with some difficulty!

Mine only had one extra pilot other than the mounted one. This set was supposedly new in the box but the scale coupler attached to the other pilot was broken. I found an Atlas coupler that looked similar and used it with the 'scale' pilot. Aha - no more gap either...

Success!

Now that looks much mo' betterer!
