1) Probably because they don't exist.
2) Why did you start a whole new topic, when you already had a good one going, on the SAME SUBJECT?
amateur.... sorry
I did a quick search. I kits listed by this outfit, which is new to me.

Also Walthers lists them as mfg by Precision Scale Corp. I tried the PSC site and couldn't figure out a way to search for them. Walthers says not in stock.
This is an article on building them.

I have emailed the mckenzie people---no response!
No phone number either---but they gladly take your order... I don't doubt they are a legit business, but would really prefer to talk to someone and insure that my purchase fits my engine!
Crazy? No more than most of the folks here and maybe less than a few,
Was not aware that McKenzie was still in business - very curious to hear how that works out.
There was a decent article in the NMRA mag within the past year or so in scratchbuilding disconnects thhat might prove useful.
MWB,
Perhaps they are not in business; strange that their website has a contact page without a phone #...

Not as much as you might think - a lot of the smaller garage//basement/back shed companies really don't feel a need to be on the phone with folks all the time, lack the personnel for that (1 person operations), and/or have just enough business as it stands. They may even have day jobs that they need to keep separate and as such don't have regular business hours. Having an electronic ordering system that you only have to check daily for orders frees up some time to actually fill orders, develop new products, etc.
I think that I did see that the web site wasupdated in 2011, so that's maybe a good sign.
likely two rail and shorter than lionel height---this has been the recurring issue.
Go here:
http://www.precisionscaleco.com/
then click on "O/On3 Scale, Specify The Truck Scale and Type"
and pick "O Passenger/Freight Trucks"
1st page shows #9107 (kit) and 9107.1 (assembled).
Bob,
talked to them, they do not fit lionel as they are 1/8" too low.... Believe me, I have turned the nation over looking for them---even talked to an austrailian firm!

Ok, so back to build them yourself! Really, how hard can it be?
Yes I think you are in the scratch build them yourself mode.
If you look at the prototype drawings if you can find them, you will probably find that the Lionel height is not correct for a prototypical model.
