I was waiting in macungie pa for these two diners go by on norfolk southern 16N on there way home from kansas city to scranton. both of these cars are owned by ELDCPS. they are in allentown till monday or tuesday when they will go to portland pa and ride back on home rails to scranton pulled by the delaware-lackawanna.
Wow! This time, they stayed on the end of the train! When the DL&W469 diner was shipped in April, there was a lot of discussion on moving passenger cars, and the struggles some people have in keeping them on the end.
They should be picked up by Delaware-Lackawanna on Tuesday and brought to Scranton before the day is done.
