Feeling pretty good today, so keeping with the take it easy orders from the Dr, I set a few pieces out on a table where I could sit in a chair vs stand at my work bench. Got all the new arrivals wheels and pick up rollers oiled and repaired some broken horses from the Ives Circus Set. Nice to feel like I accomplished something.

Steve,

Hard for me to stop checking out your display cabinets. How thick are the glass shelves, What is the L x W X H Dimensions? Is there by chance an manufacturers label on the rear? Sorry for so many questions.

I acquired some nice tin plate at the Oklahoma City Train Show on the 4th, this past Sunday.  A Pre War U.P. 636W with two coaches and the observation, in two tone brown.  Also an excellent 68 Executive Inspection car from 1958-1961, and a powered F3 A unit, St Fe 2343.  I already have many St Fe F3 AA and B units; this one has been totally renewed for the motors and other internals (E unit, horn and battery box, relay, wiring, etc.   I will use this powered frame with the second, "dummy", A unit that Len Carparelli with L&L Model Train Restorations painted for the Burlington Route.  Using Jim Barrett's instructions, I will install a tether and use the front A engine's E unit to work for both, keeping both powered units, 4 motors, in sync with directional responses.  All this will wait until after Christmas.... all purchased have been boxed and wrapped, under the tree, waiting for Christmas morning.

At the moment, I have not enough time to make bigger models. So only small tinkering in the evening.

This is a 00 Gauge copy of the rare Karl Bub 0 gauge "Adler" train. This was the first train in Germany in 1835 and Bub had made a model in 1935. My copy is like the Bing and Bub Tabletrain. Build only with Photos. A layout was laminated on the sheet metal.

Behind the train is a test train, made with paper.
