MTH's RailKing "Big Emma" is hardly an accurate model of an L&N Berkshire.  It's merely a less detailed, selectively compressed "traditional sized" model of an NKP Berk lettered L&N.

 

Here's what an L&N "Big Emma" looked like:

Neither MTH or Lionel has made an accurate "Big Emma."

 

Trains Magazine did an extensive article on the "Big Emma's" in December 1972.  Here's a copy of a builder's photo from that article:

I recall reading somewhere that L&N berkshire was the last of the berk built.I do like the way they are numbered.I have the 1967 berk because that is the year I was born.
