I believe the importers [ lionel, mth, atlas etc] are at the mercy of their Chinese builders and delivery dates are suitably vague, some factorys are clearly less reliable than others. Atlas by maintaining an estimated mfg and shipping date gets a considerable backlash from their customers [one of the reasons their forum was dropped a number of years ago] JMO

When my stuff will ship anyway. I can't even start to get impatient though. PS-1 box cars I ordered last September? August!

The 180 watt brick? September!

at times 25 or 6 to 4 seems to be appropriate

I don't care.  I budget, analyze, and keep myself in check when needed.  I make sure before I order anything the money is available or will be available despite when it comes in.  I also have some other budgeted money for any items that I may want to acquire while waiting. 

Have to wait another year for the 180 watt powerhouse, in the mean time no more engines purchases.

This is essentially my take. I'm not much of a shipping schedule watcher. In fact, I rarely look at it. I'm a "...it gets here when it gets here..."guy.

What! Me worry? About a model train delivery?
I gave up that stress along many many years ago!
Now, I just sit back and watch you guys freak out over this stupid stuff.

Regardless of what the shipping schedule says, nearly everything arrives in Nov/Dec anyway!!!   

Although I must admit, MTH has been pumping out tons of stuff almost every month recently.  Whether anyone is buying it all is another story.

You must be feeling that you got to get this item into your life, you want to get it next to you 

So unfortunately,  this is only the beginning.

Who cares about the delivery schedules? If I want it, I order it and then wait for it to arrive. I don't care when it gets here as long as it is made correctly, has the correct colors and functions as advertised. That's it. Period. 

I can name that tune....

Desperately waiting for something to arrive does nothing to make it happen sooner. In the end, all you're left with is stress.

Manfs have no control over dates-the China factories do....

I agree Scott.  It would be very helpful if their schedules could be close that we could budget toy train expenditures!

It's at least an hour later than it was last week at this time.
